What is din 2617 pipe end cap installation procedure?

The end cap is a blind end of a connection. The end caps are used at the end of a pipe to terminate the fluid flow. Lubricants and adhesives are used in installing the end caps. Different material grades and different sizes require different types of lubricants and adhesives. The end of the pipe is cleaned and dried out under air or with air blowing tools. The end cap is also cleaned. Then the lubricant and or adhesive is applied onto the outer side of the pipe and the inner side of the cap. Then the cap is put in place and tightened.
